Most of the information I find about Paloma is in Spanish so it’s a bit tricky for me to understand. However, you can e-meet her on this Youtube video when her exhibition at Real Sociedad Fotográfica opened in October 2017.

The gallery exhibits artists local to Madrid. I asked about a particular piece and was told by the gentleman working there that the work was created by his brother.

There are many artists on display in this gallery, including my work! I chose to display my work here as a percentage of all sales go to the charity Street Souls, part of the Coombe Trust. You can find out more about the trust here and Street Souls here.

I used to help out with Street Souls when I lived in London. We would go out on a Friday night 2 or 3 times a month to feed the homeless, help hand out toiletries and clothes. It is a great group of people that really make a difference to homeless people’s lives.

Ana María D’Ambrosio

Ana’s sculptures are a taste of Spanish Flamenco in wood and clay. The energy of the wood as the skirt is very clever. The way the silver gilt shows from the clay part to parts of the wood helps tie the piece together and brings the union of the two main materials. Very pretty and very clever.
