Most of the information I find about Paloma is in Spanish so it’s a bit tricky for me to understand. However, you can e-meet her on this Youtube video when her exhibition at Real Sociedad Fotográfica opened in October 2017.

I’m not sure who the artists is, I am assuming it’s Luis Sanz. After a bit of research it seems as if Luis has a photography studio for marketing purposes and photo shoots. Luis might be the studio owner or the photographer, not the artist. I’ll update as I find out more.

I can imagine that the artist has spent time taking the photos of these people and then has played with all sorts of technology to digitally alter the photos into these ‘painted style’ images. They are beautiful in real life and I wish as always that my photos did better justice to them. If you find yourself in Chueca, pop in and have a look at the artwork whilst enjoying one of the most highly rated coffees or cocktails in the area.

I have searched the internet for Mauricio Stern’s work, coming from Argentina it seems like the artwork is not on display anywhere online so you must visit the restaurant to see it in person! However, you can find him on Facebook here, and Instagram here (there are no posts).

Nanja’s style is fun and uplifting! The technique is also very clever, drawing on the bananas and then taking photographs of them in special and hilarious situations! Special Commissions are possible on request.

Maletsatsi creates truly stunning Wall Hangings made out of natural fibres including Silk, Merino Wool and Cotton.
